On Juneteenth, Orange County Supervisor of Elections Announces New Polling Stations

Empowering Voters, Enhancing Access: A Milestone in Electoral Transparency and Innovation

Orange County, FL (June 19, 2024) – The Orange County Supervisor of Elections is pleased to announce two new early voting polling locations to better serve the voters of Orange County ahead of the 2024 primary and general election.

Eatonville, which in 1887 became the first town in the United States to be organized, governed, and incorporated by African American citizens, will open its Town Hall (307 E Kennedy Blvd, Eatonville, FL 32751) to serve as a polling location for early voting this year.

“We are very excited to be able to offer the opportunity to early vote in the historic town of Eatonville,” said LaVonda Wilder, President of the Eatonville Chamber of Commerce.

“Being an early voting site brings in the fact that you don’t have to find a ride to the polls, you can walk to the voting site,” said Eatonville Mayor Angie Gardner. “I am so honored that the town of Eatonville will be hosting an early voting site, this election season.”

Partnering with Lift Orlando, an additional early voting site will be located at the Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center (710 S. Tampa Ave. Orlando, FL 32805). This location will also serve as a Primary Voting Location for early voting from Monday, August 5, 2024, through Sunday, August 18, 2024. The same location will be used again for the General Election from Monday, October 21, 2024, through Sunday, November 3, 2024.
