Ahead of District Five Runoff Election, Orange County Supervisor of Elections to Participate in “Souls to the Polls”

Empowering Voters, Enhancing Access: A Milestone in Electoral Transparency and Innovation

 

Orange County, FL (June 14, 2024) – Orange County Supervisor of Elections Glen Gilzean will take part in “Souls to the Polls” across Orlando’s District Five on Sunday, June 16 as voters cast their ballots in the final day of early voting ahead of Tuesday’s election to fill the District Five Commissioner seat on the Orlando City Council.

“This is a critical election for the City of Orlando and as far as our office can determine, the Supervisor of Elections has never participated in a ‘Souls to the Polls’ event,” said Orange County Supervisor of Elections Glen Gilzean. “I am honored to have been invited to these churches in District Five to participate in fellowship while advocating for voters to make their voices heard.”

On Sunday, Supervisor Gilzean will be at the following locations at these approximate times:

 

8:30 am - Bethel Missionary Baptist Church - Pastor Rollie Murray

9:30 am - Shiloh Baptist Church of Orlando – Reverend Derrick Williams

10:45 am - Livingston Street Church Of God - Pastor Demetris Pressley

12 Noon - Greater Refuge Memorial Church - Pastor Marcus McCoy Jr.

1 pm – Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office
