Important Dates

Deadline to register to vote: November 4th

Public test of voting equipment (at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections office): November 19th at 10 a.m.

Deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed: 5 p.m. on November 23rd

Early Voting (at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections office):

  • November 21st & November 22nd, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • November 23rd, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • November 24th, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • November 25th - November 27th, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Election Day: December 3rd, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed: 5 p.m. on November 23rd

Our office will be open on November 23rd, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., and you can call us to place your vote-by-mail ballot request. After this time, you can request your vote-by-mail ballot online, by fax, or by email until 5 p.m. The request can also be made by an immediate family member or legal guardian on your behalf.

You or a designee can pick up a vote-by-mail ballot at our office up to the day before the election.

If your vote-by-mail ballot is picked up or delivered on Election Day, you or your designee have to complete the Election Day Vote-by-Mail Ballot Delivery Affidavit to affirm that you have an emergency that keeps you from being able to go to your assigned polling place to vote. If the affidavit is completed by your designee, they must also submit the Affidavit to Pick-Up Vote-by Mail Ballot for a Voter.
