Redistricting Report Files

This page has the most updated redistricting reports. Additional reports will be uploaded as they become available.

Redistricting is a regular process of redrawing voting districts based on data from the Census, every ten years. Voting districts are drawn based on population, not registered voters. After the districts are redrawn, our office will send new voter information cards to all registered voters, which will show your new districts and polling place, if applicable.

Our office is responsible for creating voting precincts that report to a specific polling place, based on combining areas in similar Congressional, State Senate, State House, and/or local districts. Our office does not create or assign any of these districts.

In order to create the voting precincts for Orange County, our office needs the adopted district maps from the local, state, and federal levels. The completed voting precincts are needed to create voter files representing the new districts.

The below government bodies are responsible for their district map(s).
