Changing your address, your name and/or your party affiliation

Keeping your address up to date is vitally important. If we do not have your correct address, we cannot mail a sample ballot or any other election notification to you.

We recommend you use the online voter registration form to update your address; however, you may call us at 407 836-2070 and we will happily assist you in updating your record. In July 2011 our election laws were changed and now prohibit voters from updating their address at the polls on election day if they have moved from one Florida county into another.  While an eligible voter in this situation would be allowed to vote by Provisional Ballot, we strongly encourage voters to update their address well in advance of an upcoming election.

Name and party affiliation changes can be submitted using the online form or the Florida Voter Registration Application form English-Spanish. There is no deadline for name and address changes; however, the deadline for changing your party affiliation is 29 days before any primary.

As a result, any written communication created or received by the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office will be made available to the public and media, upon request, unless otherwise exempt.
