Absentee Reports

The Absentee Request file will be updated on a daily basis during the work week--users should be aware that the file will reflect ongoing changes in the Orange County voter file database. Thus, it would be advisable to reference the most current Absentee Request file available rather than using an earlier saved version which might not reflect current information.

Preliminary reports will be posted each evening upon completion of the processing of the daily requests. The files will be verified and reposted if necessary by 9:00AM on the following day.

The absentee files have been modified to include the voter's absentee category. This field has been added at the end of the record.

Absentee Requested

This report is cumulative, containing all requests up to the date of the report. It does not include requests from voters whose ballot has already been returned to our office. Once the absentee ballot has been returned to our office, the person is removed from the requested file.

Absentee Delivered

These reports contain the list of individuals who were mailed an absentee ballot. There are two Absentee Delivered reports available- one being a text file and the other being a pdf file--each of which are generated on a daily basis of the delivered absentees for the date in question.

Absentee Returned

This report contains the list of individuals who have returned their absentee ballot to our office. Returned ballots are not reflected in the file until fully processed by our office. The Absentee Returned report is cumulative, containing all returns up to the date of the report.
