CANVASSING BOARD

The County Canvassing board is composed of the Supervisor of Elections, a County Court Judge, who shall act as chair, and a County Commission member.  The County Canvassing board shall meet at the Supervisor of Elections office to publicly canvass the absentee elector’s ballots and provisional ballots.

If any member of the county canvassing board is unable to serve, is a candidate who has opposition in the election being canvassed, or is an active participant in the campaign or candidacy of any candidate who has opposition in the election being canvassed, such member shall be replaced pursuant to Florida Statute 102.141.

The canvassing board conducts all business at the Supervisor of Elections office. Public notice of the dates and times of all meetings will be posted on our website.

The County Canvassing Board has selected the State Senator District 15 race, a Republican only race, for the post-election audit as required by Florida Statute 101.591 and Rule 1S-5.026. The audit will include precincts 116, 118, 125 and 128. Please see the calendar below for the audit schedule.
